Unfortunately, school meals are no longer free for all students as they have been for the past two years because of the pandemic. Students must be approved for free meal benefits or have money in their school meal accounts to buy any meals, food or beverage item.
Do not guess if you are eligible -- 68 percent of Rhode Island students get free or reduced-price school meals. All meal benefit application information is private and confidential. To get an application please see the attached forms.
